Easy Beach Workout (No Gym Needed)

No need to go to the gym, enjoy this easy fat burning HIIT workout in the sand!

Living close to the beach has many benefits. One of them is that you can perform your own body workout with no equipment needed.

Whether you are a beach local, on vacation or just a beach lover, the following beach-based exercises are great. Best of all, all you need is some energy and a will to workout.

Who can do this workout?

This is a 30 minutes workout and it can be performed at any beaches, any time of the day. You can do it alone or with friends. It will challenge your entire body.

What body parts will this workout focus on?

This easy beach workout will focus on all your body parts. It’s a very light and easy beach HIIT workout that anyone can do. The workout will improve your cardio and overall health.

Warm Up

  • 10 jumps
  • 5 push ups
  • Child’s Pose
  • Leg stretch

Part 1 – The Sand Run

Draw a 20 meter sand line to perform the following exercises – repeat 2x per exercise:

  • Run back and forth
  • Kangaroo jumps
  • Sideways crab crawls
  • Monkey crawls
  • Backward run

Part 2 – The Sand Squat

Repeat each exercise 2 x 12:

  • Squats
  • Frog jumpers
  • Jumps & push ups
  • Mountain climbers
  • Side plank push ups

Cool Down

  • Inner tight stretch
  • Calve stretch
  • Backstretch
  • Arm stretch
  • Jump in the water to cool down!
